According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, on August 5, the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be sunny. The north-west wind will be replaced by a south-east wind in the morning.

The air temperature will be 24-29 degrees at night, 35-39 degrees during the day, and close to 40 degrees in some places.

Atmospheric pressure will be 758 millimeters of mercury below normal, and relative humidity will be 70-80 percent at night and 40-45 percent during the day.
