On the night of August 8, Russia attacked a fuel depot belonging to the Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR in the Odesa region with "Shahed"-type drones. The strike caused a fire and damaged a diesel fuel pipeline, according to RBC-Ukraine, citing law enforcement sources.
The fire was quickly contained. As a result of the strike, four employees sustained serious injuries and were given emergency medical care, the report continued.
This is the second attack in recent weeks on sites connected to SOCAR. Previously, a gas distribution station near Orlivka in the same Odesa region was damaged. This station is part of the Trans-Balkan pipeline, which is supposed to deliver Azerbaijani gas.
