Female drivers are trained to drive buses

In order to increase the number of female drivers in public transport, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) has launched a new training program. Within the program, candidates undergo theoretical and practical training to begin their professional activities as bus drivers.

Upon completion of the training, participants take free driving tests on specially prepared routes. At this stage, both theoretical knowledge and practical skills are comprehensively assessed.

This AYNA initiative supports women's economic activity and increases their role in the transport sector. It also makes a significant contribution to improving the quality of service in public transport and the level of passenger satisfaction.
