As part of the measures taken by the Tovuz Customs Department, an attempt to smuggle foreign currency across the border was stopped.


A truck was inspected at the Krasny Most customs post of the Tovuz Customs Department. During the inspection, $94,270 US dollars were found in the car and on the driver, hidden from customs control.


An investigation is underway into the fact.
