Azerbaijan to increase military spending

In 2026, Azerbaijan's defense and security spending will amount to 8 billion 714.8 million manats (5 billion 126.47 million US dollars). This is reported in the data of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan on preliminary indicators of the consolidated and state budgets for 2026.

The specified amount is 3.8% higher than the approved forecast for 2025.

In general, next year, budget revenues are projected at 38 billion 423 million manats (22 billion 602 million US dollars), and expenditures - 41 billion 548.6 million manats (24 billion 441 million US dollars).-0-
