The government has officially decided on the fee for the teacher recruitment competition. On April 24 Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decree that sets the fee at 60 manat. This fee is for people who want to participate in the teacher recruitment competition.


This year there was a lot of criticism about the competition being paid. The competition will be paid. The government made some changes to the law on education. These changes were discussed in the parliament meeting on December 23.


The new law says that people have to pay to participate in the teacher recruitment competition. Some people do not have to pay, like those with disabilities or those who come from families that get help from the government. The people who will decide how much the payment will be are chosen by the government.


The competition has four stages: checking the application, a test choosing a position and an interview. Until now the competition was free. Year taxes will go up in some areas, in Azerbaijan. This is because the country is producing oil and the price of oil has gone down. Most of the countrys money comes from oil and gas.
