Azerbaijani Delegations Will Visit Armenia

Azerbaijani delegations are planning to visit Armenia, according to Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan. He told reporters that Azerbaijan has guaranteed there will be no issues during the visits.

Simonyan explained that Baku's absence from the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly was because of organizational reasons. Azerbaijan does not see any problems with cooperation and reciprocal visits. Armenia hopes all usual participants will attend the upcoming European Political Community summit in Yerevan.

Simonyan said that both Azerbaijani delegations will visit Armenia, and Armenian delegations will visit Azerbaijan.. Prisoner and detainee issues are key discussion points. He added that these discussions will continue, and Armenia is open to stronger cooperation.

Simonyan hopes Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey will visit Armenia, and Armenia will ensure a peaceful and pleasant visit for them."
